Thanks Hey Kessy for sponsoring all the craft materials I needed to make the projects!

And I couldn't be happier when I saw that their Holiday Gift Guide contents were all handmade, and that my stoneware plates were included :)

Kombi Stamp

I made this stamp a long time ago but never really got to post it here. It was actually sold during the 10a Alabama Fair last summer :)

Hand-carved Stamp

I used multi-purpose ink pads from Hey Kessy to print on this tote bag :)

I am auctioning off this papercut artwork. This is one of the pieces which have been recently exhibited in New York. It is signed and double-glass framed. 100% of the amount collected will go to those who have been affected by the recent super typhoon, Yolanda. You can email your bid at mansilliana@gmail.com until next Wednesday, November 20.

The three large paintings in this photo are not mine. They are by an Italian artist who also participated in the said exhibit. The one I'm holding, which you can't see, is the one being sold.

New York

I couldn't believe it. Just a few months back, I kept dreaming about New York and dreading about the visa application process. Just last Thursday, I was finally able to get my visa, book my plane ticket, and find a place to stay in.

Now, I'm here in New York with Mary, Paul's sister. We walked around and saw a lot of people wearing costumes. There was even a Halloween parade! If it weren't for my jetlag, I'd have taken photos of the funniest, most interesting costumes we saw :p

PS Hey Kessy and I will still join the 10a Alabama Fair but just for the 2nd day, November 10 :) Hope to see you there!
