I love buying low-back tops and dresses - but I never got to wear them until just last weekend when I made my first ever "presentable" strapless bra. Haha.
So anyhoo, if you're like me who has either bikini tops for everyday use or a bra which has bacon back straps - you know, the kind that you shouldn't be wearing outside the house anymore (!!) - this tutorial is for you! Don't worry, you have everything you need at home. ;)
1. The first thing you need to do is to get rid of that bacon, old strap! Don't hesitate, just cut it!
2. Then gather your materials: thread and garter. You can use any garter size (I chose 2 medium-size garter strips).
3. Sew the garter strips to your bra. I'm not OC and besides, the stitches will not be seen anyway so mine look like this:
Just make sure that they are sturdy enough. Here, you can see that I formed the stitches into a square with an "X" inside.
Tip: Try it out or break it in at home first before using it when you go out.
Happy Monday everyone!:)
