Green Fair

I'm sure you've heard the news about the closing of the Manila Seedling Bank. So unfortunate, not only for the fireflies but also for us. We need as much parks and greeneries as we can have.

In denial, I went bank to the Seedling Bank last week though they said that it would close on the December 31. When I got there, there were demolitions already and some people carrying plants were going out the compound. The guard told me to go to the QC Memorial Circle as the majority of the sellers moved there.

I was lucky because there was a Green Fair at Circle that day! Sellers of different species of plants and gardening tools and materials were there. There were bonsai, air plant, and cactus growers. :) Let's wish there will be more fairs and events like this and that the sellers from Manila Seedling Bank would find a new homes.

  3. I am a newbie succulent grower... I hope that the former Manila Seedling Bank sellers who moved there stayed even after the Green Fair. I want to go there for a "plant shopping" one weekend.... :)
