From the South

Although March can't quite make up its mind about the weather, I'm sure when April comes, it would definitely feel like summer.

I was lucky to have spent a couple of days relaxing and crafting at Bahay Marikit. Located in San Juan, Batangas, the resort is perfect for family and barkada summer trips. I also got to see the interiors of the owners' house. The patterns, materials, and colors worked well together.

Just a few kilometers away from the resort, is Cafeño - an artsy little restaurant. They have one of the best hot chocolate drinks I've ever had! Didn't know crispy pinipig would go well with hot choco until this trip. It was so goooood, I'm seriously contemplating on driving for hours just for a cup!

On our way home to Manila, we passed by the Molito area near ATC and had dinner at Yushoken. I wouldn't forget their chicken karaage!

Beside the ramen place is Designer Bloom Cafe. Nope, they didn't feed us flowers. They have real food and drinks!
