I had a rainy bu art-filled Tuesday. The whole day was spent appreciating artworks, observing wood and leaf patterns, and enjoying coffee and
suman at
Pinto Art Gallery and
Crescent Moon Cafe with my friend,
Tippy.
The gallery's new wing houses more artworks, plants, and even books! Their plants are way bigger than their counterparts here. I swear they're huge enough to make it to the Jurassic Park movies! Haha. Tippy said this is because they have a much bigger space to grow in. Aah yes, the importance of having space. :)
Walking around the huge gallery - the whole property is approximately 1.2 hectare - wasn't tiring at all. Aside form the art, the white walls, big windows, high ceiling, rooftop gardens, and wooden doors would keep you engaged and amused.
These four are my favorite works, and thus, spent the most time on:
We still had extra time before the rush hour in the metro so we opted to drop by Crescent Moon Cafe for
merienda. We had homemade
suman with sugar, mango, and hot coffee - perfect for the chilly weather.
Trips like this are what I need right now especially that I didn't get to get out of the city on my birthday a couple of months back. Can't wait for our next roadtrip, Tippy!
